NZ MARINE CARTILAGE

Shark cartilage is a potent source of collagen, glucosamine and chondroitin sulphates which help support joint and connective tissue health. The marine cartilage powder used in O2B Feline Plus tablets is manufactured from non-endangered school and rig shark species harvested from New Zealand fisheries that operate a world class quota management system. Marine cartilage has over 40% pure collagen protein, plus essential and non-essential amino acids, which are necessary for elasticity of the tissues, natural healing of skin, ligaments and tendons. Marine cartilage is also a good source of minerals particularly calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, chromium, manganese and silica. These components are essential for the maintenance and normal function of cells, muscles, bones and joints.

NZ GREENSHELL™ MUSSEL

Greenshell™ Mussel (GSM) is a rich natural source of chondroitin, glucosamine and omega 3 essential fatty acids. All three of these compounds are needed to maintain and rebuild healthy connective tissues such as cartilage, tendons and ligaments. GSM is an effective and natural bio-active ingredient that promotes overall animal health commonly associated with mobility, healthy skin, bones and teeth, circulatory and immune systems. The Greenshell™ Mussel we use in O2B Feline Plus are harvested from the pristine NZ marine environment.

NZ KELP

As a sea vegetable, Kelp contains 46 minerals, 16 amino acids (the building blocks of protein) and 11 different vitamins. A dense source of vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, D and E, as well as minerals including zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron, potassium, copper and calcium. Kelp contains the highest natural concentration of calcium of any food – 10 times more than milk. There are many reasons to supplement your cat with Kelp but key reasons include support for digestion, metabolism and cellular energy production. New Zealand harvested kelp is believed to be one of the most nutrient dense vegetables on the planet.

BREWERS YEAST

Brewer’s Yeast is a fantastic source of B Vitamins specifically Folic acid, B12, Thiamin, Niacin and is packed full of minerals including Chromium, Potassium and Zinc to support healthy skin, eyes and coat. It also contains high levels of amino acids and is a good source of protein.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine HCl)

Thiamine is essential nutrient for the overall good health of cats as it converts carbohydrates into energy to power the neurological system and support the cardiovascular system.

VITAMIN C

Vitamin C supports the strength and maintenance of connective tissue in the body, including in bones and teeth, gums and all mucosal membranes. Vitamin C is vital for the function of the immune system and assists with the absorption and utilisation of iron.
