A red carotenoid, astaxanthin is from the same family as lycopene, lutein and beta-carotene. It is manufactured by a freshwater algae called haematococcus pluvialis, it’s most sustainable and potent source.

O2B Astaxanthin is a powerful fat-soluble antioxidant that can act as a pro-vitamin to Vitamin A, it helps to recycle Vitamin C, and appears to have an affinity with cellular membranes to protect them from free radical damage and oxidative stress, supporting healthy management of inflammation pathways in the body.
