Whilst many plant-based sources of protein do not provide sufficient essential amino acids, O2B Plant Protein+ combines hemp and pea together for an enhanced protein profile recommended for vegetarians and vegans who need to consume a broad variety of plant-derived protein sources to ensure they receive a full range and balance of essential amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein which help muscles repair and recover after workouts, but also for the growth and maintenance of all bodily tissues, including bone, muscle, skin, and nails. Taking probiotics together with protein sources can help with the digestion of the protein to boost the availability and absorption. With added turmeric and blackcurrant, O2B Plant Protein+ not only also adds antioxidants and vitamin C, but also supports muscle recovery after a workout. Inulin: a prebiotic, dietary fiber that feeds the microorganisms in your digestive tract to support gut health.

Turmeric: Turmeric has a vast history in Eastern medicine and cuisine, related to ginger it has a vibrant and brilliantly coloured root or rhizome. Modern scientific analysis shows the bio-active compounds found in turmeric are super potent antioxidants and anti-inflammatory molecules supporting cognitive health and joint health. Over 4000 published research papers confirm that curcumin acts on multiple targets and at multiple levels in the human body..

Blackcurrant: Blackcurrants have one of the highest anti-oxidant values (Oxygen radical absorbance capacity- ORAC) of all fruit, double the amount of blueberries, and have four times the amount of vitamin C as oranges, along with high levels of flavonoid antioxidants called anthocyanins. Anti-oxidants protect against the oxidative stress found in various health conditions including ageing, cardiovascular disease, cancer, inflammation, macular degeneration and wound healing.

For an average serve, mix 1 heaped tablespoon (approx. 33g) directly into a glass or blender with 250ml of water or your choice of fluid. Stir and/or shake well.
